While shooting for a fictional stockphoto company for class I came across an Icelandic painter named Gunnar. He tried to sell me some shoes (way nicer shoes than the patched up Adidas I was wearing at the time) but I told him I didn’t have any money on me, and that those fine Ecco-shoes probably were a bit too fancy for me anyway. I asked to take his portrait so that I could e-mail it to him later on, and he was more than happy to comply. Really sweet guy with amazing eyes. Without him my stockphoto portfolio would have lacked something special.
